How this site works

Plain HTML, with no JavaScript, no cookies and nothing loaded from anywhere else. Every page is under 5,000 bytes.

Pages in about 137 bytes

When you open a page in Chrome or Edge, the browser also fetches a 2,408-byte compression dictionary in the background. Every page after that is sent as a diff against it, so the page itself takes 50 to 245 bytes, 137 on average. Other browsers get Brotli, about 1,101 bytes a page.

Proof of work

Every page is mined so its SHA-256 starts with seven zeros. Check this one:

curl -s https://nandishwarsingh.com/colophon/ \
| shasum -a 256

Post-quantum TLS

Connections use TLS 1.3 with the X25519MLKEM768 key exchange, a hybrid built to hold up against quantum computers.

openssl s_client -groups X25519MLKEM768 \
-connect nandishwarsingh.com:443

Built and served

A small Go program builds every page, mines its proof of work and checks that every compressed copy decodes back to the exact same bytes. Caddy serves it from a server in Mumbai.
